Koha
These special wahine go alongside my Tauria prints. In the Tauira description I talk about how everything she needs is already within her. Koha is one of those things.
Koha represents the act of giving. In this piece, I’ve portrayed her with open arms and hands, symbolizing generosity—offering a helping hand, sharing gifts, and providing guidance. The koru and mangopare patterns emerging from her mind and ears illustrate her role as a listener, offering both her ear and her creative mind. She gives freely, whether through her attention, wisdom, creativity, or support, embodying the many ways we can share and uplift those around us.
She is printed locally here in Whangarei on the acid free Bauhaus Fine art paper. The achrival properties of the paper paired with the high resolution inkjet printer will have your print lasting a lifetime while also looking vibrant.
